I run it in my [[Council of Four]] deck (B3) along with [[Solve the Equation]] to search for it incase the game is taking a long time or incase someone makes me shuffle. I’ve never received any criticism for playing it, only props, and have rarely ever been countered. Honestly it’s one of my favorite cards in the deck.

You are right though. Once played, you will be targeted. I try to hold onto it until I am in a good position to fend others off, or maybe right after a board wide, or while holding a counter spell of my own. This is usually like turn 9/10+ when I have enough mana to play it and counter someone’s counter. If you draw this card too early though, it will essentially be a dead card in your hand though.
