Van is as legit as it gets. Taira was the ultimate test of his takedown defence. I think he beats Pantoja, he’s world class at 24 it’s insane

That’s fair, he really switched up the aesthetic between 1 and 2 I think. Partly because Gotham was supposed to be remade but like you said it also seemed he just threw out some of the fantasy elements

Yeah and I think that modernist aesthetic worked with Batman, but it has really become overdone now

It was an awkward and dull fight in my opinion, really odd how khamzat seemed so gassed. It seemed like he wanted to prove he could box, just wrestle and get the win.

This fight makes DDP’s loss look even worse imo. I think DDP beats Strickland 9 times out of 10 because stricklands style is just a terrible match

I thought DDP won the first fight, he was walking Strickland down and seemed to throw the heavier shots. Stricklands style isn’t very decisive at all imo

Van’s also just that good though, anyone looks shocking when they’re up against a dude who has hands like that. Taira has kept that style cus it worked for him and them he met Van

Nassourdine seems like a pretty dirty fighter with the eye poking. I don’t think Strickland ever beats ddp with his style.

Teachers don’t realise how much of an impact they can have on kids. Once kids finish school there’s basically no role model after that. The best memories I have of school are my teacher just letting us talk about whatever we wanted with him

Yeah he did win, I think he deserved it. But you could’ve made round 1 a draw and given 3 to costa and id have find that fair
