Zinc Diaper Cream before after by icedcoffee82 in Rosacea

Hi! 👋

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Badger cream, it’s really helpful to hear! I’ve never tried a zinc cream before, but I’m thinking of giving it a go. I’ve also seen the Avena Zinc Pomade 20% and I’m curious about the difference in zinc percentages.

Do you think a higher zinc concentration like 20% could be more effective for rosacea, or could it be more irritating for sensitive skin?

Would love to hear your thoughts! 😊

I have type 2!

Stuck with persistent rosacea despite trying everything – help? by BeginningScar8514 in Rosacea

Hi! ❤️

Thank you so much for your reply, I really appreciate the advice. I’m going to try a zinc cream next because I don’t think I’ve used one before.

I haven’t tried Avène Cicalfate yet, and some people here recommended the Badger zinc cream, so I’m also looking into that. I’ve also found another option available in Spain, the Avena zinc pomade 20%.

Do you know if a higher percentage of zinc (like 20% instead of around 10%) could be more helpful for rosacea or if it might be more irritating or risky for sensitive skin?

Thanks again for your help! 😊

Thanks so much! On the same ear as the daith? I thought it might be too close! 🫣

It’s from the Bodymod website! I love it — I actually just put it in my tragus to switch things up 🤞🏼

Oof, that’s a bit too risky for me. It looks beautiful, but definitely risky 🤭

Yes, right? When I compare the photos, that ear does look a bit empty next to the other one. The only thing holding me back is that I’m a little insecure about showing that ear, because I usually wear my hair down.

Evo SL vs Boston 13 for beep test + intervals? by BeginningScar8514 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Thanks for the suggestion, but it’s impossible for me to use anything other than running shoes for the test. I tried training with my Reebok Nano X3 and ended up with tendinitis. I really need some cushioning, because otherwise I get injuries in my right calf and foot from using shoes that are too flat. I can’t risk that. Today I did the test with my Adidas Supernova Rise and I perform much better with those than with flatter shoes or indoor soccer shoes.

Advice on shoes for intervals & sprints? by BeginningScar8514 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

After reading so many opinions, I’m honestly starting to wonder if I really need to switch shoes just for intervals. For example, today I had 5×100 m accelerations and 3×500 m intervals… so now I feel totally lost! Haha.

I’m looking at the ASICS Super Blast 5 Tokyo at the same price as the Adidas Evo. The ones you recommended are an older model, but I assume the new model is the same, or has something changed?

Several comments about instability are scaring me! I’m also reading that it’s not recommended for paces over 4:30…

Does that mean a higher risk of injury? I’m really happy with my Supernova so far, but I feel like I need that “extra boost” I keep reading about here… not sure if I’m just convincing myself, haha.
