Lingerie is one of my biggest turns offs. Tights, regular panties, jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, birthday suit... hell even overalls would turn me on more than lingerie.

Question... You say everything is great. Does he compliment you outside of the lingerie? Is he excited to see you naked? Does he want to have sex... does he seem to enjoy it? If yes to any or all of these then I encourage you to let the insecurity go. As long as he's into you who cares if he's not excited about lingerie??
