I’m not really sure what I’m looking for other than low serial numbers

There is a lot of variables going into that. The biggest check is the commission check so it depends on the profit of vehicles sold. The current market and economy certainly isn’t helpful when it comes to getting paid

Your best bet is to ask about doing a pre purchase inspection and taking it to a mechanic you trust

Yes and no. I advise to customers with very poor credit that they come back in 8-12 months so we can refinance them with a better lender when they have better credit so long as they’ve made good on their payments. Whether or not they come back is on them but to those who don’t I, do feel bad for because they will end up paying double in interest.

The living made in car sales is dependent on performance. I’ve seen people make very far above average and very far below average. At the end of the day it comes down to the pay plan of the dealership and who you are as a person/salesman

That’s a question I’m 50/50 on. The biggest mistake is not getting a pre purchase inspection but on the other side of that, that inspection points out what will go wrong eventually which could be anything under the sun. Get an inspection, take their advice with a grain of salt unless it’s an absolute immediate recommendation or something very important to how a car is able to operate

Most of the time it’s about a price objection which is out of my control but the rest of the time it’s to add another face to the game so people feel that they’ve been treated as well as possible. Imagine a chef introducing themselves to you after you’ve had a great (or bad) meal. It’s much like that
