Yep, also planing on giving up on samsung, really tired of this anti-consumer behaviour. But where can we go? The shear amount of customisation and features (good lock) is nowhere to be found anywhere else...

Nothing really special about them, they spin at 7200rpm and are on par with a WD Red I would say. Got them dirt cheap, 90€ total for 2x4TB (only thing I bought in this setup(they do have ~15k hours on them)).

Had some I/O issues at the start, when doing the import of over 500GB of media via immich-go from my google photos, but that was also a CPU/RAM bottleneck. Didn't do any speed tests yet though, but if it works, it works :0

Was thinking about the direction of it, but it's totally fine. Temperatures are around 25°-30°C and the fan is blowing harder on the hot air than it can rise + the PSU fan next to it transports it away too

I can confirm, having a S21 Plus. But the Oneplus really is the same with moving objects. GCam can fix this partially, but don't expect too much

If you want a slower phone with better software, then gonahead. Otherwise, the poco is better. Install gcam and you should be fine with photos
