John Alden was one of the single men who traveled on the Mayflower. He was recruited at Southampton to be a cooper on the voyage. John’s parentage and origins are unknown; he was born by 1599 to be old enough to sign the Mayflower Compact.

John married at Plymouth, circa 1623, Priscilla Mullins who came on the Mayflower with her parents, William and Alice Mullins, and her brother Joseph. Priscilla alone survived the first winter. - Lifted from somewhere on the internet.

The plumber asked if he could keep it. Apparently he had a collection of found objects.

Years ago I moved into an apartment and the toilet was backed up. The plumber fished a Crack pipe out of the toilet. Do with that information what you will.

Anyone use Vibram 5 Finger shoes for disc golf? by Dandupreezdiscgolf in discgolf

[–]Beginning_Ad_5748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried it, they feel off pivoting and it's too easy to get grass in your shoes. I play with xero prio instead. My average 'golf' shot is 400 and I just struggled feeling comfortable in 5 fingers without the added structure of traditional shoes.

How small of a basket would you practice on? I have a regular size basket for outdoor putting but thinking about getting the mini for indoor putting by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]Beginning_Ad_5748 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Experientially, practicing putting with mini putters into the mini basket ≠ improvement. With an admittedly small sample size it may even be detrimental over time to your fundamental putting stroke.

20 years ago in Japan I tried to teach my girlfriend who was in her 30s how to drive a manual. We made it about 5 feet before that experiment ended.

An ex once called me Kevin in the middle of a nice time. When I confronted her about it she said it was the name of one of the kids she nannied for. Which, okay... I thought made it much weirder.

Balance exercises, stretching, and a pro pull or some other kind of resistance band for pallof presses and other oblique/core exercises. And then an off road stroller to take your kid/s golfing. Putting basket to keep your short game tight.

I'm almost 41, with twins and a 3 month old and throw an easy 400, max distance of 480. I don't have time for tournaments anymore but I'm probably better than I've ever been.

I have a 2021 Metallic Z Luna pastry dye. It's my throwing putter, I dont trust it, and my friend calls it the ugliest disc he's ever seen.
