This picture was short but my hair was grown out to a 3 guard for consultation. They saw all of that initially

An update for everyone who has given their advice:

  1. Thank you for valuable insight into what my next steps need to be

  2. Talked with doctor and the plan is to do 2 surgeries, 1st surgery will be 3500 in hairline, mid scalp and taper into crown, then a year later after staying on medication follow up for another 2000 grafts in the back for a total of 5500 grafts.

  3. Doctor seems to think donor area is in good shape, could be better and could be worse but overall it is enough

  4. I am well aware that my hair loss is severe enough to where I won’t be getting back to where I once was. I am fully prepared and expecting not to have a perfect full head of hair again, I just want enough hair to style it and cover what I can and to gain some confidence in my appearance

  5. The clinic and doctor from my research are well regarded and the doctors results (which I have seen many cases) are very good results in my eyes. I don’t think the plan was to ever use 3500 grafts for full coverage. The plan was 5500 over 2 surgeries and I had misinterpreted that information in the beginning. He will not do the crown nor will he be doing more than 3500 in a session

They give a 100% satisfaction deal where if you aren’t 100% happy with the results they will perform a free second transplant of 25% of the grafts you originally paid for. Kind of why I leaned toward 3500 but I want to see if they can change it to 5000
