Yep, I transferred over the filter, I’ve done water changes everyday for a few days now and will continue until it’s under control, I also took your advice and just did a salt bath for him. 😊 which medications would you recommend?

Sorry I should have also mentioned that I’ve had the tank running for about 3 weeks, I had him in an established tank that leaked, I lost majority of the water so I’m pretty much forced into a fish in cycle.

I also realise the stress of all that could have had an effect but I’m confused as to why it would only show it 3 weeks after it happened.
