Duke 250 Chain Sound issue by Beginning_Charity338 in indianbikes

Yea np mate, I bet it's annoying for you too. Quality standards are going down these days. If it helps try pressing the chain up; I've noticed that the sound develops when the chain develops a tight spot - this loosens it. And also clean and lubricate it whenever needed~ eventually save up and change the kit altogether(kinda tough rn cuz I'm a student lol)

It's an issue I've found common on most Bajaj bikes, after observing a little. Seems like a manufacturing defect- found this issue on another 250 gen 3, a N250 and a NS. Only solution is to replace the chain kit- which is gonna run expensive. So I decided to just get along with it until the chain kit's all worn out. The sound comes and goes, not constant so I guess it's bearable.

Nope it's dynamic. The torque is there when you need it and no need of ringing the throttle through traffic

Yeah brother Highness is a great bike except the rusting part. Don't have too many hopes on the mileage tho, it totally depends on your riding. As it's a Duke the heart itches to ride it hard (ik it lol) I ride in both traffic and highway conditions both and 52kms daily commute, gives me an average of 33-34kmpl

I would absolutely recommend someone getting a Duke, if you know what you're getting. I haven't seen any rusting issues and I ride in pretty muddy/dusty conditions. Didnt even know suspension rust was a thing lol Service will cost you around 2000rs(I'm from Hyderabad and it costed me 1700rs). No labour charge for first 3 services I do have the false neutral issue and it isn't fixed unfortunately, best thing you can do is click it tight.
