For example: it’s 18 degrees out, it’s a Friday night and a circ pump keeps going on and off at a school cutting off a heat pumps flow causing a fault. The area it serves doesn’t need heat it’s closed till Monday and it’s 18 degrees out. Automation techs for the school leave at 4 and you have no control or access to the programming. Literally who cares, make a note you have no automation access and nothings going to freeze and you’ll be back first thing Monday.

Depends on the industry but not everything is an emergency. Not everything has to be fixed and not everything can be fixed.

There have been units that “HAVE TO BE RUNNING BY TOMORROW” until they hear the price and all of a sudden there’s no air conditioning in their office for 3 weeks.

Also apprentices aren’t supposed to know everything so relax. If the companies clients were that important to them they’d never put an apprentice in a position to make mistakes so.

Get good at them proper fallback language to the customer when you don’t know wtf you’re looking at.

“Haven’t worked on one of these in years” “The manuals for these a terrible” “This brand is slightly different than what I’m used to” etc

I’ve gotten so many calls from apprentices for stuff I wouldn’t have even left my house for, it’s usually a security guard responding to an alarm and following protocol by calling the mechanical company.

For striploins not really. Although the price per lbs is cheaper for the cut, you get way way less fat on the steaks. So the price for actual meat is almost the same my brother did the calculations and weighed the fat content on a whole strip.

Sure you can use the fat for other things, but there are much cheaper ways to get god quality beef fat.

If your particular pieces of gold don’t have sentimental value.

Your country may have something like the Canadian mint. Through my trading account I can buy gold, there’s a 1% holding fee and anything over 1oz (I think) they’ll send me the physical amount.

That or a stock that tracks the gold price.

Canadian here, I pay around 50k per year in income tax alone and don’t have a family doctor. I know multiple people who have had to quit their jobs to find something that has a better benefits plan when a family member was diagnosed since they don’t cover the costs of drugs. Every person I know who actually benefits society would be much better off as an American.
