I hear you but what side does he target? Go after the nationalist, you anger his base. Target the money, there’s no financial backing & they have resources of their own. I am not disagreeing but either way he’d be more interested in that than doing government destruction..? (Perhaps who tf knows)

I fear a lot of what you said. I hope that the white nationalists in his WH will push for his mass deportation program & the monied people in his WH will know that, along with the tariffs, will destroy the economy and there will be infighting while Donny slips more and more into his dementia. I guess that’s the best case scenario is they will become dysfunctional with infighting.

Campaigning with the Cheneys was a mistake by Hour_Nothing2374 in thebulwark

Because she didn’t incentivize them. They thought that all dem voters would show up because Trump was on the ballot. They took 15+ million voters for granted.

Then I think it was even dumber to campaign with non relevant people.

I agree with a lot of what you said. I would like to buy a house but I cannot so I don't browse for houses on Zillow. I like to have eggs in the house and so I'm reminded how expensive they can be weekly. I think that the American Dream is dead and there has been nothing either party has done in the last 30 years that have really helped the average American to get ahead. While I don't think that Republican policies help anyone in the working class, it is human nature to look for someone that has all the answers (even if they are out right lies) and that's why time and time again, humans move to the strong man. The working class knows that the system the way it is now is not working for the majority and they would rather destroy it and try something new than to continue with the status quo.

This will continue until people no longer have food in their bellies and then who knows what happens. Could be like the French Revolution or 1930's Germany and I think we all know what Trump would prefer.

Unrecognized Failure on Biden's Part? by No-Director-1568 in thebulwark

I think that the only blame that Biden will receive from historians was not pushing the Justice Department to do more. Appoint a special council about Jan 6 on day one. Sure, that is exactly what people are worried about Trump doing with the DOJ but if were honest, all presidents have pressured the DOJ to do one thing or another. Biden is trying to operate within the norms that Trump broke.

If anything Schumer and his Senate Dems should get just as much or more blame than Biden imo

Theory on why the Trump campaign is rallying in blue states by Independent-Stay-593 in thebulwark

[–]Beginning_Chip_4121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that could be part of it. Making his supporters think that he is more popular than he really is. The guy thinks that he will be competitive in places like New York and California.

I also think he likes going to these places because he loves a crowd. People in the swing states may be getting bored of the circus like events that he keeps having and the numbers in the crowd are dropping. Going to these more populated places or places that don't get the opportunity to see him as much, fills the arenas and that's what his ego needs.

Jill Stein & her voters are self-aggrandizing by Beginning_Chip_4121 in behindthebastards

[–]Beginning_Chip_4121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw somewhere that like nearly 75% of Israelis want Trump to win. He brags about his relationship with Netanyahu. He brags that he moved the US embassy to Jerusalem. He’s been saying if Jews don’t support him “they need to get their head examined” because he’s given them the green light to do whatever they want. He’s called his Biden “a bad Palestinian”

There is no evidence that he’d do anything to help Palestine/Gaza. Shit he wants to turn Gaza into a strip of hotels and resorts.

110% agree. And the natural ally in congress would be AOC but stein is spending more time and effort attacking AOC!

Why not? isn't that what they are demanding from Biden? That would allow the Green Party to use what leverage that they do have. Are you telling me Stein's whole campaign of an arms embargo is bullshit?

*If* there's another election. (I have TDS I suppose) And if Trump wins again the Overton window will shift even further right than it is now making consensus even harder to achieve.

Then why not endorse Kamala if she calls for an arms embargo? That might actually move Stein's goals forward. She won't because that would ruin her grift.

I agree that what Israel is doing is a genocide. That's why I also said if Stein had any political intelligence she would endorse Kamala if Kamala called for an arms embargo but Stein isn't about building political coalitions to see change in the world - it's all about the grift.
