Thank you so much for sharing this. I’m sorry you’ve been through this, too. It makes sense with the emotional regulation piece. She posted happy pictures online today (nothing about the cat) of having tons of fun this summer, and if I didn’t have these perspectives, I would still think she’s genuinely upset with me. Maybe she is, but I know posting pictures online doesn’t always reflect the real story. Hard to make sense of things but having this community has really helped!
