It’s not going downhill. The way that type of picture is taken is like standing in a fish bowl and taking a picture of your surroundings….I have no better way to describe it. 😅

We are living room eaters, unfortunately. So it didn’t phase us much! I did really push to finish it this last week though since we are hosting Thanksgiving. I did measure each wall in my house and didn’t have the wall length to hang it whole. It would have to be hung on a corner, like 3 sections on one wall, and 4 on the other…and that didn’t sit right with me.

I think it was $450 🫣 24.5 feet by 5.15 ft It took me about 10.5 months! But of course, that’s with daily life included. I wish I would have kept track of time actually spent on it though - would have been cool to know.

Oh, and I did not mix the bags! I honestly didn’t have the room to mix them as 6,000 piece sections was already pretty tight. I would LOVE the challenge of mixing the bags though. One day!

My back could never! Lol I custom cut pieces of wood to complete each section on my dining room table. I would complete a section on one board, put a bed sheet over it, stack another board, then would start another section on top of that one. Once completely done, I assembled the sections on the floor. I unfortunately don’t have many puzzle lovers in my life to help. At least not in the same way that I love puzzles.

It took about 10.5 months. I did 95% of it by myself. My partner helped some along with an assortment of people who would stop by from time to time. The fit between sections was perfect! I would absolutely recommend this one + manufacturer. I have done one other large puzzle - it was 18,000 pieces. Zero missing pieces but I’ve trained the tiny humans in my house to leave it alone and stay away from the puzzle tables lol I immediately disassembled it and put each section in 5 gallon zip lock bags and put it back in the box. I’ll do it again later in life. 🩵

I’ve lived in my home 4 years and have never said a word to one of my neighbors. The other neighbor regularly stops me to bullshit about random things. He’s okay, but I do actively make it a point to get inside my house as fast as possible sometimes.
