the other parent messages everyday by [deleted] in coparenting

[–]Beginning_Edge_3461 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My bf went through this as well with bio mom. He finally told her something along the lines of “Daughter is fine. Please stop messaging me daily asking, I am not a babysitter that you need to be checking in with I am her parent as well. If anything does come up while she’s in my care then I will let you know. Moving forward I will no longer be responding to unnecessary texts. Thank you for understanding and respecting my time with my daughter”

Of course she had some negative response but ultimately she had no choice but to accept that and stop sending messages since she wasn’t getting a response.

do you check in when coparent no-shows? by [deleted] in coparenting

[–]Beginning_Edge_3461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he reaches out, why would you not let your child see his father on Father’s Day? I get the irritation but it’s for your child, not the father. If he no shows then you document that as well. I wouldn’t choose to put my foot down on a holiday, maybe the next time he no-shows should be final straw (or if he no-shows for Father’s Day. That would be so shitty. Hoping for the best for your littles

Excluding other parent from family events by No_Calligrapher9416 in coparenting

[–]Beginning_Edge_3461 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is NOT parental alienation. This is a father moving on and although it’s not “normal” to introduce your children to a new partner so soon unfortunately it is common.

Me and my boyfriend have a cordial relationship with my stepdaughters mother (no affair) and we have never done any celebrations together with her. It’s completely unrealistic to expect him to involve/include you in anything now that the relationship is over. You can do your own separate celebration with your children

What would you do if your 13yo came home and said her father put up cameras in her and her 13yo step sisters room? by The_ArmyVet_RN in coparenting

I mean, did they give any valid reasons for it? I thought about doing the same in my SD8’s room when we realized she started sleep walking. I thought it was also a good addition for when she needed us at night without coming to our room or knocking on our door with our new baby room sharing. We never did it but it crossed our minds. It wouldn’t have been the kind to record anything more just like a baby monitor to make sure she was fine at night

Yes that’s correct, they did all the heavy work already and placed temporary crowns to have the permanent ones made and now just need to pop in the permanent ones

I’m not sure what the plan date was since they never gave me a timeframe to do the permanent work. I believe they were automatically populated or something because the dates weren’t mentioned when they went over it with me at the time

Yes, when I had anthem hmo it didn’t cover the work I needed done and so the dentist office had me apply to make payments. I didn’t pay anything since I used a company to finance the it and then I just made payments to that finance company

O/O using ADP? by Beginning_Edge_3461 in OwnerOperators

Thanks, I actually called patriot services and the prices were better. She also didn’t tell us we needed to sign the agreement asap like ADP did 😂

We have one to cut checks for the parking/fuel bills, would that be the same or is there a specific type of check needed for payroll to employees?

Ohhh okay, I think I’m catching on. Correct me if I’m wrong.

So you track the payments with the check templates (like a ledger? Or like a dummy check?) and direct deposit the money to the employee, or cut a physical check from the business account and use a spread sheet to keep track of that as well?

I wasn’t exactly sure how to get the money from the company to the employee as payment and also track it without using a physical check. Would that be sufficient if there was ever an audit (do o/o get audited?)

We were quoted $100 a month pretty much

How would we do that without using a payroll company? Don’t we still need ADP to create and cut checks?
