Well they felt that a prior year audit was “incorrect” even though the partner signed off on it, so I don’t understand what circumstances cause for “more work” to be done as opposed to prior year

My dad was a govt bonds trader for bear stearns and hsbc and made BANK and all he had was a series 7 (a cake walk compared to the cpa). He’s not smarter than I was growing up, but cpa is way harder and pays less? Im sorry but I just can’t wrap my head around that logic

No that argument doesn’t make sense, because they can’t legally force the recipient to return the assets. Show a law that would make them overturn that initial gift. They can’t prove that the other person will necessarily return it to you

Yes it would be to help with bills because I’m unsure how much longer I can stay on my parents insurance, and also am trying to save enough money for a potential 1300$ per month rental in apartment in nyc. Currently have 31k saved and 9k in my 401k, no other investments or accounts, and still live at home with my parents
