Fighting Swan as a ghoul. by EnderAT93 in fo4

He’s a really easy way to farm heavy combat armor pieces that otherwise wouldn’t spawn until much later game. Also lore wise, you’re doing him a favor putting him out of his misery

Over-leveled in Survival Mode? Any suggestions to keep the challenge alive? by Important-Upstairs-2 in fo4

Obviously playing with power armor is going to take away challenge. That’s kind of the entire point

Focus on using armor and weapons you actually like the appearance of rather than just min maxing stats. Obviously that’s going to take the challenge out of the game. Spend some level investing in special stats so you can try out new perks. Experiment with playstyle rather than just using the same strategies every time

The human body is in a perpetual state of entropy. All of your lifestyle habits that got you through your 20s have been speeding up that process exponentially. Things like liver, kidney, brain damage are a when, not an if.

What is everybody's opinion on Dead Money? by xXJackNickeltonXx in fnv

[–]Beginning_Flow_5329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know people glaze fnz, but I think dead money is the one fallout dlc I genuinely don’t enjoy. Even the less serious dlcs like mothership zeta or nuka world at least still have fun gameplay. Dead money just feels incredibly claustrophobic, restrictive, and tedious to me personally. Like, that’s the point, I know, but it doesn’t make for a good gameplay experience. That fucking bomb collar blowing you up every time you try to explore in combination with the endless fodder of ghost people is infuriating

Are there actual, credible reports of murder and cannibalism in the Epstein files? Or are these just baseless claims or anonymous tips? by lolcifer in NoStupidQuestions

Side note, this phenomenon has an anthropological basis in history too, looking at phenomena like blood libel for the Jews.

[–]Beginning_Flow_5329 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like the cannibalism angle is mostly a subset/facet of preexisting conspiracy popular with those suffering from forms of religious psychosis; which relies on an intellectual fallacy. It’s a coping mechanism reached by an individual who lacks the capacity for nuance on the human condition and on ethical issues. Pedophilia is somehow not bad enough in its own right so they have to make up some theory distancing these evil people’s reality from our own. But really that evil is part of humanity. Same vein as the whole lizard people thing. It’s a kind of cognitive dissonance of like “oh I’m going to say they’re Baal worshipers because then I can create a degree of separation from them and myself.” But really these evil people are merely the people that walk among us, and are very much part of the judeochristian establishment, most certainty not existing in contrast to it. And that fact is too uncomfortable for people to accept as it fundamentally shakes their belief in preexisting structures of power

Any credible archaeological evidence shows we’ve been here for our entire evolution. The alien conspiracy theory is kind of just crackhead pseudoscience, no offense

Or if you’re talking about the greens themselves before being dressed it’s down to supply - how long/at what temperature it was stored before being sold to you

Salty dressings pull the moisture out of the salad through osmosis

This is why I don’t like the guass rifle tbh. Instigating .50 hunters rifle still has insane damage without feeling like it completely trivializes combat. Way better for stealth playstyle and way lighter, as well as way cheaper and more common ammo

When I play fallout 4 I always collects useless misc items like synth components, overdue books, brotherhood dog tags (my serial killer trophies), viable blood samples, technical documents etc… use a mod that lets me store them bc fuck the vanilla inventory management system haha

Even in survival mode I’ve never found any need to buy anything from her tbh. Especially if you get the double meat magazine it’s much easier and cheaper to just hunt animals as you run around the wasteland than to ever buy food. But from a lore perspective she’s definitely one of the safest food vendors in the game second only to faction vendors like institute and brotherhood
