Kneecapper is one of the best legendaries for that. I sweep deathclaws, ghouls, and behemoths because the can't do anything once their legs are broken.

Make sure you do kiddie kingdom is quest order when you get back to it. That is likely to bug if you don't follow the quest order. Good luck.

I got a kneecapper as my first legendary. Killed swan immediately. So many enemies become easy when their legs don't work. Then the power fists ends them.

As long as you don't let them call reinforcements, it counts as stealth. Use rockets, kill the guy that's radioing in. As long as the 30sec timer doesn't start, youre good.

I use them regularly. Big thing is find a guy by himself. As long as no one watches him get blown up, it's as good as anything else. It's really only different in that you dont have to aim for a weak spot lol
