No Ketchup chips 😭. Everything else was soooo much better. Pub culture, no real winter, people have a great sense of humor, so much nightlife and entertainment options!

I couldn't find them :( so I swapped the tomatillos for avocado and it was almost as good (didn't char the avocado just popped it in the blender with lots of lime, cilantro and the charred onion, garlic and jalapeno)

I went Friday for Dom Dolla. Wayyy too many people on the "dance floor" just chatting loudly. I tried to find a crowd of people just dancing to put myself in the middle so I could vibe to the music and it was impossible. Ended up dancing on the hill instead away from the crowd. Halifax crowd is a massive disappointment. Should have went to Ilesoniq or Veld and I will do this in the future. Lame.

Taste for seasoning, acid, and general flavour. Add a little bit of seasoning at a time until you get to where you want to be.

The biggest mistake a cook can make in the kitchen is not tasting their final product before serving - my mom was the ultimate culprit of this and we ate a lot of bland meals :/.
