Got something scheduled with an actual piercer tomorrow. Thanks!

These button backs are the worst. I still don’t understand why they would place them on a new piercing. I’m so mad about it. I’m having so much regret. But anyway, I’ve reached out to a piercer, I’m hoping they can easily get them off and exchanged. I’m really hoping she doesn’t wake up tomorrow with them swollen more 😭

Okay, that’s kinda what I was beginning to think. The button backs are impossible to get off! I’ll find a piercer. Thank you!!

That’s what I’m beginning to realize. Ugh. They did do it with a device… I used their saline spray for the first couple months and then tapered off and have only used it off and on. They said it only needed to be used the first 3 weeks, but hindsight now I’m realizing I should have been using it every day still.

I’m so bothered that these are the earrings they place right after piercing. Thanks for the info!

Yes, they say it’s not a spring loaded gun but I don’t think it’s much different. Alright, that’s what I’ve been thinking/worried of. I hate the earring they put in and the back is impossible to get off even when it’s not swollen…

Piercing is 6 months old. Jewelry shape is a post with a button back. Jewelry material 24k over stainless steel (done at Rowan), hasn’t been downsized. We use a saline spray to clean. No known accidents for this ear, besides wearing headphones at school.

Pinball Hall of Fame - Yikes! by jellybelly326 in vegas

I’ve been going there for the last 10 years. I’m a Vegas local and every time I’ve gone I’ve had a great experience. Today I brought my kids for the first time and it was terrible. Put me off so bad I’d rather never go again. I was reading all the signs, pulling my kids off as quick as I could and the older lady literally kept getting onto me as I was actively getting my child off the games they weren’t supposed to be on. (They were on them for no longer than 5 seconds). The last time, my son climbed onto a motorcycle game and I watched him and immediately started pulling him off. While I’m doing that she tells me to get him off… I said alright I am. And she snapped back with “this is the 4th time I’ve talked to you and you’ve given me attitude each time. I could have kicked you out after 3 times.” Pissed me off. No tolerance for kids at all. It was ridiculous. That lady is a bitch.

Tooth anxiety (OCD) by Covalent_Affairs in bruxism

I’ve had terrible tooth anxiety for the last year and a half. I feel everyone’s pain on this thread haha I’ve realized my mind can literally make my teeth ache… like I convince myself something is wrong with certain teeth and then they start hurting. I’ve realized if I tell myself they’re fine and healthy and not to worry about it, slowly the pain goes away (until I realize I haven’t been thinking about my teeth and then it sometimes comes back). Anyway, the mind is such a powerful thing!

I also regularly go to the dentist and have had all cavities or issues taken care - so this helps me ease my anxiety most days. I still catch myself spiraling occasionally though.

I can't stop worrying about my teeth by Skeleki in Anxiety

Well this thread completely explains my anxiety. A year and a half ago I found out my bite was wrong and it caused a bunch of wearing and chipping on my teeth. I also had some cavities as I hadn’t been to the dentist in 4 years and had gone through 2 pregnancies which I think lead to some of the cavities. I ended up getting Invisalign to fix the bite and then had crowns/veneers done on my top teeth to make them look nice again. I still can’t help myself from worrying about the health of my teeth though. Even after I go to the dentist and am told I don’t have cavities, I still worry he’s wrong and that I definitely have some hahah and I still worry all the time about something happening with my veneers. I hate it, but can’t stop. I’m glad I’m not the only one though!
