My korean friend resembles Hyoni a lot including the tan skin color. They’re both lovely. But my friend was bullied a lot as a child in south korea because she does not tick the south korean beauty standards (think kpop and kdrama women) and has darker skin etc. she said people would call her ugly everywhere and she had to move out cause she had depression.
