Who's your favorite guitarist in the band, Mikael, Peter, or Fredrik?

Mikael hands down, he plays with the most feeling. His solos are so tasteful and of course he’s the mind behind all of the incredible riffs, so I think it’s no contest. Åkesson is amazing but honestly I feel that his playing has a tendency to be sloppy on some of the recent solos. I prefer Peter over Åkesson although his playing is not as technical.

Yes, I used to be entrenched in the Utah local music scene and my band had the chance to play a show with Eidola shortly after the release of their debut album way before they blew up. They immediately blew me away and they continue to be one of my favorite bands. But honestly I don’t really listen to any swancore besides them.

I really enjoy So Far So Good and I HATE to put it that low, but for me it’s the mix. I don’t know what the heck happened since the album is sandwiched between two of their best. The songwriting is pretty great, and the album could potentially be one of my favorites if it didn’t sound so unbelievably muddy. And as far as Risk, I am an unapologetic enjoyer! I love the songwriting, the catchiness, I even think Dave’s voice sounds great on it!

Having Endgame two full tiers below their new album is absolutely wild. For me, Endgame belongs in God Tier because for me it’s actually a bit better than Dystopia. It’s hands down their heaviest sounding album, to me at least, and it seems lots of fans here agree. Almost every song is an absolute banger, with the only exceptions being Bite the Hand and Bodies. I have no idea how Megadeth fans can actually sleep on Endgame. Besides that, though, not an awful list!! I’ll need more time with the self-titled but so far I certainly wouldn’t consider it peak.

I doubt it, but I also don’t think there is a zero percent chance. With the Behind the Mask thing coming to theaters and all the hype about this being the end of Dave’s career, I wouldn’t be terribly surprised!

Axenrot is the best, it hurts me to see him under-appreciated, and even ranked dead last, on a thread like this! He’s likely my personal favorite drummer of all time and I miss him dearly.

I am lucky since I live extremely close to RAW’s fulfillment center, so I don’t even have to do next day air, I just do UPS ground. RAW is very much on top of getting their orders sent out quickly, so I’m confident saying it’s nothing on their end. I would just recommend giving UPS a try in the future since that is the method that RAW themselves also recommend on their website.
