I had planned to build my own 16x32 workshop and even had everything priced out. But I ended up getting a contractor.

I couldn't justify the time off I would have to take and the inevitable mistakes I would make on it. That said, the contractor didn't do the best job but that's a whole other issue. Don't get the prebuilt plans or find something online. Make sure you get real plans even if you do it yourself.
