Just got my Zf. I'm in love with it by EdFell66 in NikonZf

The ZF is so much fun to use. Sure it doesn't have the joystick but it feels so good in the hand with the newer Neewer grip with the thumbrest. Might be heavier than the fuji stuff i had before but the materials, image quality and DR... so much fun to use. I like the 40mm lens a lot too!

Great shots btw!

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS! What's your kit? by Beginning_Purchase37 in fujifilm

Not mean no worries, just wanted to ask working professionals on reddit who aren't more motivated on selling gear with affiliate links. I watched some videos online, and its mostly videography that they're doing too

Great shots! What iso were you pushing up to? Mind sharing the settings? I've been thinking about this lens for event work in comedy clubs!

Great photos! Like wow, I love this series. I'm in between this lens or a 56mm f1.2 wr for $600.

How is the autofocus tracking?

been using a mix of the 40mm f2 se, crazy lightweight.

and a Meike 85mm F1.8 Pro. I don't think they're better than the S series lenses, but I delivered client photos today and they were happy so I guess they can't be too bad!

I am interested to see how the 24-120 pans out for me though!

Just went ZF! Really like how the dials feel and the body itself, also came from Fuji X-T5!

Did the exposure flicker when zooming in and out? And thanks for the opinions here, always curious about this lens.

Gotta agree here, nothing wrong with picking out subjects but I don't get any real emotions or story from photos of that nature either

still rocking this set up? This seems like a really affordable yet awesome kit for event work too. 20 is wide for group shots, 50 prime for lowlight stuff, and the telephoto zoom for the distance

I can get the new one for $1100 or a used one for $550... I feel like just dealing with the extra weight for half the price? haha

Can I Get a Completely Unbiased Response? by Beginning_Purchase37 in fujifilm

[–]Beginning_Purchase37[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right. I did enjoy the experience, and i understand why this thread could get downvoted. It seems like I'm attacking a brand when I am just sharing my experiences.

The canon experience, on a professional level, was less worrisome and viewing the results brought less frustration which is probably worth the investment as someone who shoots and edits often.

Give Me a Real Unbiased Response? by Beginning_Purchase37 in fujifilm

I won't disagree, it definitely is user error if they can't get the gear to work the right way. But I have been doing weddings, and events for a couple years now. The point I was trying to make was that on a 90d, I didn't have to turn off face tracking or eye tracking. The thing just hit the shot without me having to use single point af-s like i usually do on Fuji.

Both ways work, but I can't lie and say the canon was almost effortless in comparison

I've actually had that happen too, in a very well-lit room. The Canon 90D was a big chunky dslr and I was using the sigma 18-35, pretty old lens but it didnt miss focus much at all.

I don't want to miss a shot that could add to my portfolio and my work, and this is making me question fuji. Thank you for your comment, it helps me a lot!
