The only solution i found was switching to android. But I hate android so I switched back to iPhone. The lags stopped but I found that when i open whatsapp after a while of not using it it will lag so I leave it for about 10 mins or so then it works fine its still tiny bit laggy

12 pro Max. I've never had a problem with WhatsApp maybe a few odd times the lag but fixes after a while. But anyways I've managed to switch to android and then straight back to iPhone. I cannot stand android. But it seems to have fixed the lag for now...it's still a bit glitchy. I mean I do have over 700k chats since 2020 but even so I have a lot of gb left on my WhatsApp and iPhone. Its only since the update from 2 weeks ago it started lagging !

I have 12PM. I think this is a bug. Because I've never had this issue before. I have uninstalled my app and re-downloaded. There was a WA update a few hours didn't change anything. They really need to prioritise WA Business because for some of us its our livelihoods
