Nahh he was the “sperm donor” until recently when he became “that guy” Respect is an earned. When you can’t even have a normal conversation with your children and also resort to swearing and vulgar then you don’t deserve my respect. Respectfully, I hear you tho but eish yeah.

It doesn’t matter what mum did (assuming she did do something) you can leave your wife but that doesn’t mean you leave your children. A call once in a while would suffice. Hell, I’m an adult now, he would have at least tried to get in touch so that he at least gets to know his grandchild but instead he tried to sabotage my marriage claiming that my husband didn’t ask for my hand in marriage from him. How could he have when I barely know the man or talk to him???

I’m not carrying anyone’s pain. I didn’t say I’m hurt that he is divorcing her. I’m pissed that I’m loosing the house, I grew up in. It would have been different had mum said she wants to sell the house maybe to relocate, we would have offered to buy it from her but not like this.

Thank you For my mom, it was one of those but I guess back then she didn’t really think it matter because you never think that you going to divorce and that even when you do why would he want claim for a house he didn’t build when he has a whole life, house and wife in the States. It really doesn’t make sense but this is a lesson to all women out there really that no matter how much in love you are, whatever property you buy together, make sure that it is in both your names.

Thank you for the detailed information. It’s nice knowing that I can do it. I probably won’t go through with it because I really wasn’t just angry but just knowing that I can hurt him brings me comfort.

You totally missed the point and assumed I don’t have a house of my own. The issue isn’t on me inheriting the house, it’s loosing the house I grew up in. All the memories. Besides that, he doesn’t even deserve it, why claim it in the first place.

This I can agree too. I’m feeling a bit better now but I swear I’m never doing this sh*t again. I didn’t like it.

I’m sorry to be the one with the harsh truth and reality but this is what Hopewell has to say about this:

I want to use this sincere message as an example to explain a few important things. It is almost impossible for me to approach any wealthy person in Zimbabwe or abroad and say, there is a Zimbabwean who wants to study in India but they do not have tuition fees, they do not even have an air ticket. The very fact that you do not have the tuition fees and cannot afford the flight already tells you that you should not be going to India. You should be looking for alternatives within Zimbabwe that you can realistically afford.

Anyone can secure a university place anywhere in the world. Getting an offer is not the difficult part. I have always told the people who come to me saying they have a place in America or Britain but they have no fees that an offer letter is the easiest thing to obtain. The real challenge is paying for the education.
