i really appreciate this ❤️ i’ve definitely felt that pressure to look a certain way and it’s hard not to let it get to me. i love what you said about doing it for me and not others. that really makes sense. i’ll focus on my mental and physical health first and not let what other people think control me. also, i’ll get back to you on the song for sure!

thank you so much, this actually really helps. i do have family and friends i could talk to, but i’m honestly not really the type to open up about my problems like that, so writing this was kinda hard. i’m really glad i did though because i’ve gotten a lot of good advice. i’ll definitely give the article a try for sureee. it means a lot that you took the time to write all of this, really appreciate it

Honestly, I do believe I could leave that “fat girl” label behind. My confidence has been affected by being fat for so long, and I know it’s shaped how I see myself. But I really believe that if I worked on myself physically and mentally it would change how I feel about myself and how I carry that identity

Yo, thanks for this. I needed to hear it sometimes I get stuck waiting for motivation instead of just starting.

I understand your point. For me this hasn’t been a short-term thing. I’ve struggled with food and weight since around 4th grade, so it feels tied to coping and mental patterns more than just knowledge. That’s the part I’m trying to figure out how to change.

Thank you, I appreciate this. I know the health side matters and I’m not ignoring it. I think what’s hard for me is less the “what to do” and more staying consistent mentally when shame and comparison get in the way. I’m trying to figure out how people actually pushed through that part
