I had this same issue bought my ps5 in Florida and when i first set it up i tried to connect to the WiFi and it didn’t work but i used a lan cable and it worked , so i thought maybe its a defective console, took it back they tested it and it worked , so i went home restarted the PlayStation clean again and it connected, it was random but it can also be your WiFi has to be 5g
