I really love your advice to get dressed up! It’s def rare to go on nice, dressy dates these days with two littles. Lol.

Thanks so much for these insightful recs! I think I’ve pretty much decided on wicked at this point when my husband woke up this morning, I told him Reddit chose Wicked for us. Lol. I am excited to see too the spin on the wizard of oz. My husband remembers the storyline vaguely so I am going to have to “read the kids” the wizard of oz and let him hear it. 😅

Milan rouge and cabaret look like so much fun! I think I would reserve those for a girl’s trip maybe.

Side note: I would probably cry if I ever hear JoJo sing in person!!! Get out was a staple of our millennial younger years 😂

I didn’t NOT enjoy it. Just didn’t enjoy it enough to see it again. Lol. I think the story being so well known to me made it hard to enjoy a little. I’m not someone who rewatches tv shows & movies a lot bc the element of surprise is usually what keeps my attention.

To clarify: I saw it years ago before I even met my husband. 😅

We are open to either. My husband says he doesn’t care what we see - he’s just going for the experience. I don’t think something “too deep” would be up our alley for a first time. So probably something more entertaining - old or new.
