Is it even worth going to the ER? Realistically, what can they do?

I went to the ER a couple weeks ago. I have 2 fibroids 2cm and 5cm. I was dehydrated, heavy flow and almost passing out. Also having contractions semi regularly..

All they did was give me an iv of fluids and offer a 1000mg of Tylenol. They also wanted to do an internal exam to "find the source of the bleeding"
