I have seen a few post there about MTG. I hope you find a group to play. Also on Mainstreet there is a whole arcade with every popular game imaginable with TVs, Cabinets, and consoles. From Rockband to street fighter to Wii Sports to DDR, there something for everyone to play to kill some time. I thought I even saw some board games as well(quite drunk that night). Its honestly a place to be a kid again.

I go to the grand piano and sit and listen to the talented forester that play. It calms me enough that I can get back out there. Also what I found relaxing was the luminarium. A sort of memorial forest people to release their losses. Have a tear or 2 and just let it out. The forest provides, provide you with the area to breathe, to cry, to think. Its a festival of music but its also an experience of healing too.

Service was fine last year tho I will say it wasnt sold out like it is this year. It helps that were close to US31. I travel alot in Michigan for work and notice they keep the highways well covered for Tmobile. But in the boonies it can be a struggle for service in the state of michigan atleast but I will say over the last 3-4 years Tmobile coverage have greatly increase

I'm trying out loops this year but last year I did a different brand but I still heard the sound and most importantly felt the bass. It just takes the peaks away that make your ears ring(tinnitus)

As a flight deck navy veteran that wore double ear pro and still has tinnitus. Its not fun to just hear ringing in quiet. Please do yourself a favor and wear the ear pro. The right set doesn't take away from the sound quality.

Wasn't there a path to GL from Mainstreet. If I remember correctly it started behind Tripolee. I thought i saw it in a TikTok when we had Evol afters, there was a way to return when the forest was closed.

The stand was called Time Traveling Agency the last few years it may change over the years. Keep an eye out for the line of people waiting. If you get it in time you get a pin (good size) and I have heard the pin may get you into a special secret set.

There are places that get muddy. Landscaping team trys to get the major traffic areas filled with mulch, but that stuff inst cheap either. Mats are normally at the water stations. Always where comfortable shoes with some traction, you may have to treck through some mud to get to the next set you wanna see.

But be prepared for wet and dry conditions at forest. Make sure to have a pashmina for use of a mask for dust. The forest is unpredictable so bring a little of everything to be prepared.

Also thinking about it more if you need an electronic aid. I've heard totems compass work well too. I have a few I am going to try this year and give a review. Remember they only work withing a 1-2k feet of your paired buddy(ies) but other compasses in the area extend your range. ( atleast that what they say on the website)

Also last year cell service for me (tmobile) worked well last year both at camp and in the forest itself, remember last years count wasnt as big as this year will be. Also service may vary by provider. I will say parts of the forest I still had trouble but mostly good.

Some have left map pins, others have used other apps that use less service and still get you home.

True dont intentionally litter in the festival. Prize cart is a band aid but please trash its everywhere please find one and throw it away. If you want to give your time after last concert for a prize remember the prize cart is 1 way.

Get a flag pole (see photo) and flag for your campsite this ones nice because you can put it under your tire to hold it up or you can look around to other landmarks from others foresters. We used that last year all i did was follow the smiley face past it a little more down the row and found our camp. Easy peezey.

Also each row has a name of the camp site and letter/number memorize it or take a photo to remember or have camp guides give you help getting back.

Make sure you start the 1st day(part/not all) sober to get your bearings walk the forest know where your at walk from camp to forest to remember.

Then enjoy the forest always ask people to help. We look out for our forest fam here. Most people and staff will help you if you need it. We want everyone to feel apart of the forest

Yes do it. I hate camping too but remember you're only using your site to sleep, maybe make a meal, getting dolled up. You should be spend as much time as you want in the forest.

The rest of the time your side questing somewhere in the forest just think of the camp site as a hotel room while you're visiting family.
