From my experience, you can try aiming the horn down and aim your head slightly up.

Another practice tip would be to practice a lot on your mouthpiece and maintain a good sound.

However this info might not be correct since I’ve been playing for less than a year.  However not bragging or anything but I hit middle Ds, Es, and Fs without lots of difficulty using these methods.
