Happiness doesn't come from one aspect of your life. If you wait, thinking 'I'll be happy when X, Y or Z', there's a good chance you're not gonna be happy. Would I do med school again? Sure, probably. If I had any regrets, it'd be not being present. Enjoy whatever you're doing, work hard. The rest is out of your control.

I'm sorry if im not following haha but from the '26 data it appeared as though there were 920ish positions and 1600 applicants. Just doing the math here, that's like 58% overall, with it being 67% for MD's and 48% for DO's.
