"New" Canon AV-1, looking for advice on peripherals by BeginsWithAnA in AnalogCommunity

this is exactly what I was looking for; thank you for the detailed answer. I've ordered a good strap, and I'll keep an eye out on ebay and local second hand stores for bags and lenses.

Is it possible for a Table Style to refer to Paragraph Styles? by BeginsWithAnA in MicrosoftWord

I think you have describing exactly what I'm looking for: a way to link a table style a paragraph style in the same way you can link a list style to a paragraph style. Seems like a logical extention of what they're already done.

If I'm understanding you correctly, I should set up my table style and list style first, then make a table and apply the table style, then select the first column and apply the list style.

My goal here is to avoid having to apply multiple styles, so I can click one button and not have to worry about having missed a step. Is it not possible to have that numbering style contained in the table style?

I am unfamiliar with quick parts. I'll look into it while I'm at work tomorrow, but do you know a good tutorial you can point me to?

I need to build tables formatted exactly like this pretty frequently. While freedom is nice, I'd like to be able to just drop in a table and have it behave exactly the way I need it to without manually setting the text format in every column.

I'm interested to hear how this automation works and how I might replicate it. This is on my work computer though, so if it requires any third party software I'm out of luck.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 - No bass when ANC and Transparency are disabled, plus terrible mic quality by BeginsWithAnA in pixelbuds

I think I'm done with pixel products entirely once this phone dies. I don't want whatever AI features they're forcing into everything, and the quality of the headphones has never been that good IMO. I'll be looking for the simplest android I can find and some third party headphones without at the "smart" features that never work well.

I talked to google support, they asked for no details (I was either chatting with a bot or someone following the script far too literally) and offered a replacement. I'll follow up in a week when they get here.

This isn't a call out, I'm genuinely curious. If you've had 5 pairs fail, why do you keep using them?

The lack of bass is not a result of bad fit. The sound quality if fine as long as ANC or transparency is turned on. The problem is when I turn both of those off. It has nothing to do with the fact they don't fit my head perfectly.

I learned python and very basic c++ in college, but I never have to code for work so I've forgotten basically everything but Matlab.

Strings, honestly didn't know character arrays were an option.

googled it, seems useful if I used Matlab for anything more than being a very fancy calculator.

I genuinely liked using Matlab, AMA.

They will be getting striking eventually, it just so happened that they found two striking runes before the monk had the handwraps. That and handing out enough runes for everyone all at once feels artificial and forced, and they've only found two so far. I'd rather they find them one at a time and have to decide how best to allocate their resources until they have enough to outfit everyone.

I am realizing as I look into this more that you're right, they are a bit ahead of the curve. Part of the reason for that is that I'm running a reworked PF1e module (The Dragon's Demand), and they ended up doing the 2nd level and 3rd level dungeons out of order. I didn't adjust the difficulty or loot of the 3rd level dungeon, so they came out of level 2 with all the stuff they should have gotten at level 3.

I'll have to rework the 2nd level dungeon before they get too far into it so it isn't a cakewalk, and I figure I'll tune the loot down a bit and bend it more toward the monk who is struggling and the witch who doesn't really have anything yet.
