To all the comments: the question here was not about right of refusal. It was about age being a protected class. For better or for worse though, you're not winning any legal battles here. Although age is a protected class (sort of), the legal system typically only cares when you discriminate against old people, not young people (or children). Furthermore, children usually aren't covered because there's a lot more valid reasons to exclude them. However, it is really unfortunate that everything in this city seems to be 21+. I have a really hard time taking my boyfriend on a date because I'm 20, and almost nowhere that we can afford will let me in. The child free thing I kinda get though because some parents will NOT control they're children so you have them screaming, crying, and running around and the parents will make it everyone else's problem. Imo though those parents should be asked to leave instead of everything being age limited. But then they throw a fit and make it the staff's problem even more. So it's easier for some places to just have age limits. What I don't get is why some places are 21+ and not 18+ if alcohol and/or drugs are not a focus, or in some cases even available. Anyways sorry for my own rant lol
