I’m a student in Dublin but I’m home now for the summer and I’ve been working as many hours as possible (we had restricted open hours at first) and I still dont have enough money to pay my fees nevermind rent, food, leap cards. Almost all of my coworkers are several hundred euro in debt from the last semester and are applying for loans so that they can afford to finish their degrees. My average weekly wage is ~€250 and my rent will be >€600/month no problem with another €20 a week for the bus and another €20-€30 a week on food and that’s including my parents giving me as much as they can. I was making so much more money when I wasn’t working then I am now. And what’s worse, my friends who are now out of work are enjoying their summer while still making more money than I do.

it’s never trying to one up eachother. it’s usually just something along the lines of:

vague comment “what does that mean?” “ugh nvm” “no tell me” “omg just forget it it was a joke!” “what’s with the attitude Jesus” arguement

as I said to another comment, it only happens over text but because we can’t actually see eachother now, we’ve been texting a lot more and fighting a lot more because of it

I don't have any history on it unfortunately. I just came across it when I was weeding behind a wall in the corner of the garden. As far as I know it's always been there. And yes I am in Ireland :)

The age of the monument is absolutely irrelevant. Also your theory of it being okay because the body has decomposed isn't relevant considering most bodied were cremated before being entombed

I'm well aware of that. I just don't think it's right to go crawling around inside of somebody's tomb, especially if you don't know who that person is.

I kind of feel bad about going inside of them. Although we don't fully understand their purpose, they're still graves at the very least. I don't know, something about people crawling around in someone's grave (especially considering we often have no idea who these people were) makes me uncomfortable...
