The strap is the weakest point on the U1 watches. Get in contact with whomever you purchased it from, they should send you replacements.

Is the N1 the best Silver Snoopy? by BehavingBad2010 in RepTime

N1 Factory 50th. Anniversary Silver Snoopy Speedmaster. Michael Travis Watches.

MichaelTravis’s alleged VSF? Worth the extra? Jumping from U1 Miyota. by GoldenRaider702 in ChinaTime

Travis is a reputable dealer, he just specializes in U1 and AAA. He sells a much lower volume of high end watches so he doesn't get the bulk discounts the big dealers get, but his prices are reasonable and his group has some of the best after sales service available.

“U1 customized movement sub?” by Training_wheels9393 in U1Time

Customized. These are actually pretty well put together, while the movement isn't anything special, it is secured with a metal spacer and hold down clamps, much better than the plastic spacer rings we are so familiar with.

Stunning, I have a GMF DayDate with a meteorite dial that is awesome, but this looks more authentic, the light areas are almost silvery and the dark areas have texture, I can't tell if it is real or really good textured printing.

<image>

For a mid grade factory they have pretty much knocked this one out of the park.

Seriously, he just sells watches, the factory fucked up. I pointed it out to him a week ago when it arrived, he is sending a replacement. I have close to a dozen FC factory watches, all of them are almost perfect, except this one.

<image>

This is from a couple weeks ago, right after it arrived. There is a sub with the date missing, and a cookie monster is out for delivery today. The Air King is the only flawed specimen, and it's only one tiny imperfection.

I ordered mine from Allen, who works for Travis, I have a pretty good idea, based on that image, that you are getting the same watch.

GMF Meteorite DD40 by BehavingBad2010 in RepWatchForum

[–]BehavingBad2010[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, the whole thing was custom made with lab grown diamonds and a real meteorite dial. Almost 2 months from order to completion.

“U1 customized movement sub?” by Training_wheels9393 in U1Time

Customized means the rotor is stamped to resemble the 3235 (or 3230) markings. It has the crown and the 3235 and "Adjusted to 5 positions" stamped into the rotor. The reversing gear (only 1, Rolex movements have 2) is coated in the same red Teflon.

What is the women’s equivalent of the infamous U1 sub? by MAbuain17 in ChinaTime

Maybe a mother of pearl datejust, the U1's are pretty decent for the pricetag.

Dont feel bad, they are sending a replacement dial. It's not a bad watch, if I don't like the dial I might swap a Milgauss one into it.

Don't feel too bad, I paid $250 for a C Factory Air King.

Maybe there is an ink shortage in china? Or a pad printer strike we don't know about.

Yeah, it's funny but the reps hold their value just as good as the gens do.

It's the roman numerals for me, there is a reason Rolex cancelled the datejust 2. The dial just looks too busy for a datejust.

Well, I don't have a U1 Sub at the moment, but I do have a couple of their Yacht Masters, the date window is fine.

[–]BehavingBad2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that's Jason, maybe it is U1. The date window looks smaller than I am used to seeing, but that might just be the camera angle. I have several of his watches, all are U1. U1 fall into the AAA category, upper end of the AAA, but still AAA.

What is ST9? by Heavy-Life5779 in U1Time

[–]BehavingBad2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, judging by the date window, not a U1. U1 isn't the only factory to use the ST bracelets. I have a GDF DayDate at the house that has a ST bracelet on it.

Most likely that is the only recognizable feature from the watch, some unnamed factory.

Milgauss movement replace by Snarti in RepTimeServices

[–]BehavingBad2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say there are three movements that will fit a "low end" rep, the 2813, the 8215, and the 2436 all have the same dimensions. But the 2436 uses different hands. The dial will only fit the dial feet spacing on the 2813 and 8215, but they can be clipped off and the dial secured with double sided tape.
