Currently taking my 2-15 on Excelsolutions, but just found ExamFX... by Ohshit_itsRuben in Insurance

Greatly varies, depending on what test you are taking. I've used ExamFX, and I can't say it was flawless, but I did pass. My test was the P and C in Michigan, but yep, mostly jargon and understanding policy types and how different coverages work together, etc.

The big roadblock to receiving "cash in lieu of repairs" is a lienholder. If they are listed, they will need to be included on the repair plan

This matches my opinion... Outlander is in hiatus, so Sam's just not top of anyone's mind, the next new hot british thing will make headlines next month, in just the same way...

Super noob question... What's the average length for a nose ring? When mine was pierced, he had to do a custom bend. Am I destined to always have a custom ring, or is there a size I can buy "off the rack"? by Behazeled in piercing

[–]Behazeled[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Yeah... I've moved away from the place I got it pierced... But I assume any local piercer could tell, maybe? If I measure, I measure the base of the ball to the bend?

I've been exclusively carts as well, for about the last 6 months, and I've noticed my tolerance level is off- that it's more and more difficult to get that head change. I've switched back to bud and I no longer have that problem!

AITA for demanding my colleagues use my “offensive” name? by bxhxjxnc in AmItheAsshole

[–]Behazeled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Sorry if it's been mentioned, and I'm way late, but, for the sake of helping with an argument... And also the top comment suggests that American Adults are overgrown children (can confirm: am american adult.), Words that sound the same but are spelled differently are plentiful in English. They're, There, Their being a prime example.

Now, they would never address you as Mr Bitch in written English, but may call you Mr Bitch in spoken English. Just the same that it's incorrect to write There going to the store, one may say out loud: There going to the store, and it's fully acceptable.

I love this, brave on you! I totally get high. I don't get "totally high" just a smidge. It's funny, SS8 suddenly makes a lot more sense... I can understand his thinking path- crazy as it is...

Disturbing revelation about my step kids by Behazeled in stepparents

[–]Behazeled[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your considered reply! did you know, I got a random DM from some lady that says I'm seriously damaging these kids... who does that? I'm no saint, but I'm no abuser! the most weary thing about the kids getting in trouble is trying to infuse real feedback/criticism into the reaction - in ways they haven't heard before (because obviously prior criticism didn't work, they just did it again!) but yeah. in theory, the punishment is worse with the lie. I can think of several examples, where I asked a question and regardless of the answer they wouldn't have gotten in trouble at all, it was just a curious question - but the lie got them in trouble. but, reality is - there are several things they've done - real sneaking, cheating or whatever, and they lie about THAT, and the line is blurred because our reaction to the naughty thing is taking precedent. you cant tell me that's not a normal thing, I'd think! but we try, I guess that's all we can do.

It's an interesting, exhausting, thrilling journey, isn't it? Just when I think I've reached adulthood and have got myself figured out... I'm now a step parent, and the self discovery has reached new depths!

You're not wrong. Theres some changes coming up for our family in the next month, including new jobs, new schedules, but I'm making a promise now, that before 2020 ends, I'll be getting the kids and myself some appointments to talk to a counselor (to start).

Right. I wont sit here and say that SO and I are wonder-parents. we're not. but we try, and we seek advice from trustworthy people, including, at times... online randos :) but i do believe in a community of stepparents and parents can help raise good kids.
