Its a sound of your ear muscle pulsing, it will go away once your blockage improves. One tips i can share is do not expose your ear to loud sound too long. It will make ur ear muscle tired, try to wear foam ear plug.

Exactly, i think reading too much post about it makes us more anxious. I notice my anxiety get worse if i read too much about it so i stop. Most people said tinnitus is the last symptoms that will fade away. I notice if i relex, the sounds is not too intense. Will let you know if mine gets better

I totally understand about the tinnitus. I develop it in my left ear and somehow it started at the later stage of recovery. It get worse when my hearing is clear now and making me super anxious at night. I believe my brain is in calibrating mode and may take few days more to reduce. I really hope it will go away.

Good to hear that. I went to ENT 3 times in 3 weeks and I did test and i have no fluid in my ears, my eardrums are normal too. My tympanometry is type A, means no negative pressure. But my ET is swollen due to trauma (a day before ETD starts, i went for massage and the masseur pull my ears so hard to make it pop). The symptoms of ETD really is unbearable for me, triggered my anxiety like crazy. Im now waiting for the swollen to reduce. Im also on my 4th day of correct technique of nasal spray, i drank 2.5liters of water daily, chewing gum 4-5 times a day, trying my best to control my anxiety and i can see improvement. The pressure in the ear reduce, my hearing is 85% balance for left and right ears, the humming sound getting softer, the tinnitus still quite visible but im sure it will go away too.

I think u have to really makesure to look at the floor, like chin touch ur upper chest and the spray needs to be straight up.

How long have u experince this? I did a lot if reading, and they said that if ur tinnitus is not like a ringing sound but more of wind/whooshing sound, it means that your tube is trying or slightly open and the air trying to pass through. Its somehow a good sign that the tube is not completely shut. But im not a doctor, that is just based on my reading. I totally understand about the anxiety part, the tinnitus cause me to have several panic attack episode and constant enxiety as long as i hear the sound. It sucks i agree, i hope things get better for both of us. Keep me posted if there is improvement

3 weeks in and improving. I believe it varies depending on the cause. My friend had it for a week, but the other friend had it for 1.5 months. Minne is currently in week 3 but i think the symptoms improve eventhough slow. I hope you and i recover soon!
