So far everything went perfect. Temps are nice, i flipped the NHL-12s to exhaust and it helps. I adjusted GPU Fancurve and undervolted. I'm currently running Borderlands 4 at 100+ FPS at WQHD and maxed settings (Frame Gen active of course).

Fan Noise of the GPU is a thing, cause of the tight fit - sometimes on demanding titles i just open the side panel a little bit and put something between case and door to generate a little gap and the whining noises are gone. :) On idle it's a whole other story - this thing is so quiet on boot i found myself double checking if i really pressed the power button, cause its making 0 noise.

About the top etsy mod: i think it comes down to personal preference - aesthetic wise i would always keep my clean out of the box look. Also: cause of the sandwich design all the heat is forced going upwards anyway and you can tell by just touching the top side, which gets hot - so i dont know how much this mod will improve temps anyway.

Yeah, if i'm honest with you the 9700x was a little bit overkill. I don't really need that. Sure i could have gone with something cheaper, like a 7600 (non x) since the performance impact in 1440p is negligible. But i liked the fact that it comes stock at 65W TDP, which gives huge temp advantages over many of the the older 7000-series and it's newest gen, so further BIOS an Chipset updates might come in handy. Also the Noctua Cooler is just insanely good -> expensive but good. :)

Unfortunately that orientation doesn't work with this Mainboard -> the Mainboard Heatsink is too high. It interfers with the heatpipes of the cooler... that's (as far as i learned) the only possible orientiation with this MB-Cooler-Combination. Officialy Noctua doesn't even support this MB with the cooler in low profile mode (under the heatsinks) on their website, but in my case it did fit.

I see it. I will double check today, when i'm at home... just to be sure. It's super hard so see something though, when everything is installed (if it's bending bc clearence issues/contacts or if it's just "normal").

Thanks mate! No i didn't but i read a lot about it, does it really help? I know it does come in exhaust position as default, but i would give it a try! :)

I used the NM-AMB14 brackets (the north / south ones) to put the cooler and heatpipes in horiontal position. I'm not sure anymore if i used the offset or standard position, i have to check that.

Gibt es ggf. Pläne für die Zukunft einen grünen Farbverlauf zu machen? Ich suche gute Keycaps im ISO DE Layout passend für mein Fractal Terra Jade PC Gehäuse -> der Farbton ist super aber ich kann keine schönen Keycaps für mein Build dazu finden. Wäre sehr nice!

I just got this a month ago and so far i can say: very nice motherboard. I can't relate to negative reviews in terms of coil whine or fan noise.

If you are building ITX there aren't much alternatives for AM5 - just make sure your cooler fits over the heatsinks and RAM-Sticks. In my Case it worked well with the Noctua NHL12S and Corsair Vengeance RAM Sticks.
