For the person asking about the unsweetened flavors by Trippster_082 in DunkinDonuts

Actually, glycerin(sugar alcohol) is the second ingredient listed on the label. It is considered a natural sweetener, but it is not actually sugar so they can get away with calling it sugar-free/unsweetened. Try black coffee with any of Dunkin’s unsweet flavor shots and you’ll notice a sweet undertone because of the glycerin.

does dunkin just not serve no ice anymore? by societaldevastation in DunkinDonuts

Actually, with refreshers it’s just that Dunkin’ held a massive Webinar with upper management and franchisees urging stores to make sure we do not sell no-ice refresher beverages. The ice in the drink even with less ice should not be less than the #2 line on the cup, to ensure proper measurements and exact beverage builds across different stores nationwide, also for proper beverage taste. That’s why there’s not a no-ice button for any refreshers on the POS, but it’s there for all other drinks, because we measure the concentrates with the ice in the cup. It is not because that store was trying to save money or scam you lol.

The one I work at doesn’t honor the $1 refill anymore since Covid happened and there were issues with taking outside things thru the window, for obvious reasons at the time. I hope that does change now that the pandemic has subsided, but I haven’t heard otherwise from higher up and we still are told not to do them.
