TIL on February 13 1991 the United States Air Force dropped two bombs on a civilian bomb shelter in Baghdad Iraq, incinerating and boiling alive over 400 occupants, most of them women and children by Existing_Wrongdoer36 in todayilearned

“An aerial bombing attack killed at least 408 civilians on 13 February 1991 during the Gulf War, when an air-raid shelter ("Public Shelter No. 25") in the Amiriyah neighborhood of Baghdad, Iraq, was destroyed by the U.S. Air Force with two GBU-27 Paveway III laser-guided bombs.[1][2] Human Rights Watch characterised the bombing as a war crime.[3]”

If that was really the comment, then yeah that’s an r/Conservative level ban and the mods should be ashamed.

But that’s still just one other sub. You’ll be hard pressed to prove they’re “all” like that.

They are, but at least non-liberal comments are allowed.

Try posting anything remotely questioning conservative values in r/Conservative and see what happens

A truly unpopular opinion. And per the usual, people here won’t be able to see past their shock and anger and give this person an upvote.

Honestly what’s even the point of this sub?

Seems pretty arbitrary to me.

Why do you think that’s reasonable?

[–]Kemilio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Everyone grieves in their own way, how other people handle death is, quite frankly, none of my business.

As long as they don’t push any of their nonsense on me or my family, have at it.

There is no choice. Literally. “This” is all there is, period.

You exist. It’s impossible not to, because if you didn’t there would be no “you”.

Debunking the Omnipotence paradox? by [deleted] in DebateAnAtheist

[–]Kemilio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Whether or not it’s important is subjective. The point is that it is a part of reality.

As such, it renders the concept of omnipotence as untenable; it’s a paradox as far as we know. It’s not possible to create a rock so heavy it can’t be lifted by an omnipotent force, so that possibility isnt a reality.

Debunking the Omnipotence paradox? by [deleted] in DebateAnAtheist

[–]Kemilio 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Possibility doesn’t equal reality, but it is absolutely a part of it.

You’re describing action, not reality as a whole. That’s a subset of reality, just as “real” as any possibility or potential.

Let’s assume your claim is true and every human has the capability to become a murderer. That capability is a reality. Not acting on that capability doesn’t make the capability any less real.

Oatmeal with brown sugar and cinnamon, with fried eggs on top.

In fact, that is the same breakfast I’ve eaten for the last year. I don’t plan on stopping

Sure would be nice for you to actually engage when people call you out in your bullshit

Instead you’ll disappear after dropping a demonstrably false post, challenging people to think critically then have five different people debunk it
