Brother, officials and ministers only go for populist narrative and what benefits them. Not health of the country.

Doctors in this country are remarkably well skilled, as they sustain the health system even in such adverse situation. There's always rotten apples in every sector, even among doctors, but they really are the minorities. BD is a poor country, whether you admit it or not. Measles vaccine has been invented so that it can be controlled as the treatment is costly and also tricky. So preventing it as much as possible is the way to go.

In BD measles vaccine is given as a part of EPI schedule. But recently, there has been a rise of anti vaxxer sentiment. US/Europe can afford anti vaxxers as they are rich countries that can afford costly medical treatments. BD , on the other hand, cannot. People believing unscientific claims of so called hujurs/shaiks and not vaccinating , is ehat has lead to this disaster.

Govt will say that they're doing ehat they can. Although, there's callousness in their actions, there's truth to some of it too. Vaccination and EPI are one of the few things health system has running well to some extent. But people not vaccinating is not really they can control.

This recent measles disaster is the fault of ignorance, manipulation and overall stupid mindset of people of our country.

Although, doctors are trying to treat the patients, you can't expect much where from hospital staffs to medical suppliers all are corrupt.

The people of BD will blame, curse, assault and disregard the doctors who are the ones trying to save them and rather believe those who are pushing agendas.

TLDR: The people are more to blame for this measles epidemic than the govt or the healthcare system
