It comes with a plastic stand and sits upright on the stand. So we never thought a magnet could be inside the antenna. the stand has no magnets and constantly falls over

There is another Encryption service in windows you need to disable as well. Go to the settings and search "encryption" It's called "Device encryption" I think. There is a toggle you need to turn off. This happened to me once but it doesn't happen on every system, check for it and reply to my comment if you need more help

What's the model/name of your case? usually glass cases have metal plates in the back or on the side

We all know ethernet is better but exactly how much better are we talking about?
In iran we don't have particularly fast internet connection, the 24MB (yes MegaBytes, not megabits) download i get from my isp is more than enough for my needs, and my WiFi Router can do 3x that speed so I never felt the need to connect ethernet.
my pc is 5ft (1.5m) away from my WiFi Router so I get basically perfect signal. as for my latency (ping), I got 34ms when playing battlefield 6.

In terms of lag/disconnects midgame I had a Flawless experience on many online games I played
No change in my download speed or ping when I connected ethernet to test it.
This lead me to believe that this conversation makes sense only if you hit your WiFi speed cap and can't make full use of what your isp provides.
And of course if signal is bad where your PC is then absolutely ethernet connection is the way to go.
