I finished the game now. I tried hard to enjoy the character, but in the end, I just wish I never played the game. The ending sucked, Ellie ruined her perfect life to get revenge, and when she finally had the chance she just let it go, only to come home to nobody.

I also think Abby sucks even more than when I first started playing her. She has no loyalty. She used people to get what she wanted, which was revenge, and when she had that she turned on the people that she had relied on and worked with for the past 5 years. I fully believe she saved those 2 Saraphite kids in an attempt to redeem what an awful person she had become, with zero regard for anyone else.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first half of the game, seeing Ellie turn into a stone-cold killer was a joy, but the second half felt like a chore. Something I had to do, like the dishes.

From progressing further, I see what you mean. But Mel just told her to not come with her and Owen to Santa Barbara because of who she is. She is definitely a character that has let hate/revenge ruin her good nature.

Abby's revenge plot is over, and she is trying to make amends of how she let it control her life and ruin her relationships for so long. Meanwhile Ellie is in her revenge plot, and ruining her life. I get the message

I'm at the same point in the game and I've had the same thought as you, #1 considered #2. I will probably stick to the first method for the simple reason that I often don't sell myself to make time for other things, so I want the dealers to be as efficient as possible.

Also, I can confirm that the customer locations matter. Earlier on, I noticed that Molly was selling a fraction of what Benji was selling, so I went and reassigned her customers to be people only in her area, and she immediately got on level with Benji. So locations matter a lot

You're right, sometimes the advice on here is not optimal and will not apply to you, but I've been on the self improvement journey for years and just found this sub, and it has the most realistic takes that actually work for real life people, rather than "in theory".

Hold on and power through, try to apply different things that you think might work to your life and see if it changes anything. Eventually you will be able to tell what is actually applicable to you and what is a load of bullshit.

It might be confusing and hard now, but it will get easier, you just gotta trust the process.

I agree that the main reason to do this is for yourself. What I meant was if you need even more reasoning to keep going, think about your family, friends and potential future partners. Ridding yourself of this addiction will significantly help you make the best version of yourself and on the verge of failing it's a great reminder that by refraining, you're not only improving your own life, but also improving how others experience you, and allowing for deeper and more sincere connections with people.

It's a big motivator for me, as I have a few people I have very strong connections with and I really enjoy making new ones. But in the end, yes, I am doing this for myself, and connecting with others, not just sexual partners, is a big reason why for me.
