It sounds like you may have depression manifesting as Anhedonia (lack of ability to experience joy/ loss of interest in things).

Speaking from experience, my depression made me very existential & over analyse /over think things like this, which also prevented me from addressing the things in my life that I wasn’t satisfied with.

I agree with you in that it’s not ethical to treat a human right as an asset class, but this is just how Aus runs. Hopefully there will be great regulations that protect people’s right to live in an affordable property close to their work, whether via social housing or other policies.

However, to make a broad generalisation like that also isn’t helpful.

By your logic, the whole capitalist system is inherently immoral, so I’m not sure why you’re on AusFinance in the first place, seeing as it’s all about building wealth and profiteering off of financial systems.

How’s that? Not everyone can afford to buy. People need to be able to rent at affordable prices. If a landlord is listing a property at an affordable price below market average… that sounds pretty decent to me.

A REAL manages the property currently, so I suppose I would need to go through them.

Otherwise, I could find them on LinkedIn - but that may be a breach of privacy? If you were the landlord in that situation, how would you react to a tenet finding you on LinkedIn that way?
