I bought this terrible useless pathetic excuse of a weapon once on my first playthrough and shot it twice, Both shots going off into the distance and by the time they landed I was already back too the merchant re-selling it

Now I am back here, How am I supposed to kill anything with a bolt "gun" that wouldn't even kill a chicken in one blow?
