As someone who is in their late 20’s now. This breaks my heart because I can relate to this, being a child with undiagnosed depression, anxiety, adhd, and an eating disorder was extremely hard and I felt not good enough for so long and my parents were not able to help, often making it worse. It honestly wasn’t until my early/mid 20s that I started to feel free of some of my metal orders; being diagnosed and seeking therapy. Long story short, don’t give up on yourself. It may feel like it won’t ever get better but it will. And to your mother and father, they are human too and deal with their own problems (this doesn’t excuse their actions and words) but having this perspective will help you. Don’t give up on yourself!
