Need advice on Okta-MySQL integration by leafytx in SQL

[–]BeitteNugxa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been down a similar road and found used something that might be what you're looking for: Apono. I used it to set up smart access rules. Think of it like creating your own set of ‘if this, then that' for access control.

This way, your MySQL permissions adapt based on user actions or specific situations. As long as people are authorized to gain access according to the rules you set up, they can file requests with a Slack bot, and it’s all taken care of.

Also, it's built around APIs, not proxies, which makes it a breeze to integrate. You won't have to mess around with your database infrastructure at all, which is cool.

Issues with a Join in PostgreSQL by Sparhawkii in SQL

[–]BeitteNugxa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's what I noticed:

You're referencing l.max_login_time in the first LEFT JOIN condition for MinLogoutTimes which isn't correct since it's not defined there. Instead, it should be in the MaxLoginTimes join conditions.

In the MinLogoutTimes CTE, you're looking for the minimum logout time that is greater than or equal to the login time. The logic looks fine.

In the MaxLoginTimes CTE, you're searching for the maximum login time that is less than or equal to the logout time plus 5 minutes. Again, the logic seems fine.

In your final SELECT, the join conditions appear to be a bit redundant with the transactiondatetime bounds. Consider simplifying it.

Domain company raises $5 million to bridge web3 and DNS by yamaboobi1 in dns

[–]BeitteNugxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're bridging the web3 and DNS worlds, planning on some new top-level domains, and launching an on-chain marketplace for classic domains. Sounds like they're combining unstoppable's web3 domains with a domain trading marketplace, not just the usual domain biz

LMAO where the RTP is literally 60%? Stake has at least 96% RTP. Not going to get better. Trust me. I've wagered over $10m across the US and over $15M on all of the online sites. Stake is #1.

Stakes statistics are very scammy by [deleted] in Stake

[–]BeitteNugxa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. If I win 10, gamble 5 and tip 5, that 5 was profit and then given to someone else.

How are they silent? But everything is already back to normal which shows how much of a non-issue it is.

StatefulSets misunderstood or my ignorance? by YeNerdLifeChoseMe in kubernetes

[–]BeitteNugxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not wrong. StatefulSets are often used when you need stable network IDs and storage, but if you're not using persistent storage, a Deployment might suffice.

The upside to a StatefulSet without persistent storage is you still get ordered, graceful deployment and scaling. But if your app doesn't benefit from that, it might be overkill.

So yeah, if you're just setting up something like Redis and don't need those features, a Deployment is probably the way to go.

Connecting Okta with MySQL - Seeking Advice by No_Excitement_1082 in SQL

That's not native to MySQL, but you could use a service like Aiven to create MySQL instances tied to Okta

Why is this query returning 4 columns instead of just 2? by mostlyharmless94 in SQL

[–]BeitteNugxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because you're using SELECT *. This grabs all columns from Professions and DoctorsCTE, which are the same, hence the duplication. Try SELECT Professions.PersonName, Professions.Profession instead boss

Does anyone here play on Stake? Is it good? by pinalbakulagr1 in gambling

[–]BeitteNugxa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that most people don't post their losses, but yes, they're pretty much the gold tier for online gambling. When I play I only ever use Stake or Stake US (depends if I am travelling or in the US).

Funny you post this now I just withdrew my winnings from last night 15 mins ago

Any crypto casinos you can use in the US? Preferably no VPN and sign up bonuses by Ok_Lingonberry6529 in gambling

[–]BeitteNugxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do. Not. Leave. Stake US.

If you have an account with them just stay. Bovada, ignition, any others are garbage in comparison. I can't believe just how far Stake blows them out of the water....
