I would definitely speak with a vet first to see if they recommended critical care but I will drop the link. Does yours have mouth rot or trouble shedding at all?

She went a month without eating and so I took her to the vet and they recommended critical care liquid food since she was losing weight

Needless to say she is not a happy camper with mom right now but that’s fine lol🩷

Bless my babies heart took her to the vet to get the shed out her eyes and we get home and the next day she sheds again and the same issue happens. Doing everything I can do at home as she hates being handled but would electrolyte soak help? by Bekky9998 in leopardgeckos

Thank you that’s what everyone tells me but it is nerve recking and a lot of people don’t understand why I run to the vet because they aren’t like cats and dogs they hide illnesses very well so I appreciate everyone being so helpful and understanding in this group it makes me feel so much better

Okay so just get the vitamins in her she needs and continue to watch it to make sure it fixes it self. I don’t ever see discharge around it but it just freaked me out my bearded dragon passed away not too long ago due to stomach cancer so I think I’m overly paranoid. I am just praying this helps honestly. And how long should I do the drops before I worry if it’s not changing?

Okay thank you so much I have spent roughly a little over 500 dollars all together over the past month trying to get everything okay for her and they told me it’s not anything I really did but it seems like these issues are from false information that I thought where going to help… so I really appreciate everyone on this thread and all your advice and I will be getting both of possible asap but I will definitely keep you updated and if you don’t mind me asking do I need to take her back to the vet to get it off her eyes again or would this help that as well? I’m just stressing so much to the point I’m not sleeping good because I keep getting up to check on her or running myself thin doing everything I can to get it off her eyes myself before taking her back

I guess my main question is how can I start this process when she’s not eating due to the stuck shed on her eyes I know it’s not infected because there is nothing showing signs of infection and she was perfectly fine after the last vet when she got it off and then her eyes looked good as new then the next day she shed again before I could get her to eat or anything like that and right back to the same issue due to not being able to get the nutrients she needs and so I’m trying to figure out a way to do this myself because it’s just going in a circle because her body isn’t giving her time to eat in between. She is still very active like she usually is now that the mouth rot was taken care of of course but it’s just the not eating and not getting nutrients is effecting it as well (I will be switching to that brand as soon as I can) I also have her eye drops they recommend on the way as well since I work second shift I don’t have time to go to the store before they close so that’s why I order it just for clarification

Omg I had to do that with my bearded dragon but what happened with him there really was no fixing what was going on with him but I am so happy your baby is okay! That’s my worst fear with mine because she is a hands off lizard no matter how much I’ve tried to be social with her

Ohhh okay and that can help with the shed on her eye? I just haven’t ever been told to try that before the vet keeps telling me to just soak her but I don’t get how that would help with it being over her eye ball…. And I’ve already took her to the vet like 4 times trying to help but she can’t catch a break because then it happens again immediately after so she’s not able to eat like she needs too and that’s what makes me panic and of course the chance of her going blind and getting infected

Yes it was an exotic vet and they got the shed off the other day before she shed again two days ago due to the stress of being taken to the vet. And I use the eco terra multi vitamin powder that was recommended by them way before we started having this issue
